Diwakar Kaushik taken charge as station head of NTPC-Simhadri 

Mr. Diwakar Kaushik  has taken over from Mr. V Sudarshan Babu  as  Head of the Station (BUH)at NTPC Simhadri, Parwada Mandal Viskapatnam yesterday.  Mr.Diwakar Kaushik   was born on  31st Dec 1966  and  is  a  Graduate in  Mech. Engineering   from NIT  Kurukshetra , joined NTPC in the year  1987 as a executive trainee,  after training  His first posting was at Aurya in the year 1988 in Operation Department.

Earlier he has worked at different stations of NTPC at Aurya, Faridabad , Dadri, Mauda  & CC-EOC and held several important positions in a career spanning around three decades. He is having rich experience in Power Plant Management particularly in Operation Department.

He has also undergone  foreign Training in ERP Operation Training bt M/s RWE npower in the year 2006 at  Swindon, UK & Leadership Development  in the year 2018 .

As head of the power station, Mr. Diwakar Kaushik  will coordinate all activities of NTPC-Simhadri Plant

V Sudarshan Babu –Executive Director NTPC- Simhadri was felicitated by team Simhadri  grandly on 17.11.2020 on the eve of his transfer to Kahalgaon as ED . Mr. PREM Chand -AGM(HR) welcomed the guests. Mr.A K Srivastava –CGM (SSC), Mr. G C Choukse, GM(O&M) Simhadri  welcomed the Guest of Honor  with Rose buds .

Speaking on this occasion , all GMs and office bearers of union and association highlighted Mr. Sudarshan Babu’s contribution in Simhadri especially identification of Sapta Rishis ( Seven banyan trees) in Deepanjalinagar Township along with  Renovation of rain water harvesting pond   (Simhadri Sarovar)  and Open gyms.

Speaking on this occasion, Mr. V S Babu appreciated and admired  the team Simhadri for their excellent support during his tenure and requested to continue their best efforts to keep brand of Simhadri intact and achieve greater height with thrust  on Environment and safety. The felicitation ceremony was arranged though MS Team due to Covid-19 and strictly followed the COVID 19- SOP.
