Ind Vs Aus in opening ODI of three-match series at Sydney today
Indian Men’s Cricket team will take on Australia in the opening One-Day International (ODI) of the three-match series today at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Indian team is returning to action after staying away from international cricket for more than eight months due to COVID-19 pandemic.
Virat Kohli will continue to lead the Men in Blue in the 50-over format, while KL Rahul will serve as his deputy in the absence of injured Rohit Sharma. Aaron Finch will lead the Australian side, with Pat Cummins serving as the vice-captain.
India will play three 3 ODIs, three T20s, and four Tests during their two month stay in Australia. The 2nd ODI will be played on November 29 and the final ODI on December 2 in Sydney.
The ODIs will be followed by three T20Is starting from December 4.
The Test series will begin with a Day-Night game at Adelaide from December 17, followed by the Boxing Day Test match at Melbourne. Skipper Virat Kohli will miss the last three matches as he will be on a paternity during that time.
