Finally, IFS officer B. Ramesh appointed as regular director TSFA
The progress of the academy has come to a standstill as the Telangana Forest Academy has handed over the responsibilities to the officers who are in the final stages of retirement. However, the government finally put an end to that trend by appointing IFS officer B. Ramesh as the full-time director.
Additional PCCF Tirupathaiah had served as the Director for some time in the past and later PCCFs Prudviraj and Munindra were appointed as directors at the end of their retirement, leaving them unable to undertake any new initiatives except routine ones. Academy has become a platform for retirement functions. At this stage Hyderabad CF, Additional PCCF Dr. G. Chandrasekhar Reddy is currently the director in-charge of the academy.
Apart from being recently promoted to CF in IFS officers’ CF promotions, Ramesh has secured a responsible post as the Director of the Telangana State Forest Academy, which has been the backbone of the department. He has the responsibility to bring the prestige of the nation-wide academy to its full potential.
CF B Ramesh happy took advantage of this rare opportunity to express his gratitude to the Government for appointing him as the full-time Regular Director of the Academy, hoping that the Forest Range Officers and Beat Officers would be able to expand the training programs and bring good name to the Center by utilizing the resources provided by the Government with the co-operation of their superiors and experience in the past.
