The time has come for everyone to be responsible and loving towards the environment, said Allola Indrakaran Reddy, Minister for Forests and Environment. Ongoing Green India Challenge under the auspices of MP Joginapalli Santosh Kumar The above song was unveiled by the Minister along with Padma Shri Vanjeevi Ramaiah at Aranya Bhavan yesterday. The Minister said that the biggest challenge now facing the world humanity is environmental protection. With the aim of turning the state into a green Telangana, CM K.Chandra shekar Rao embarks on a green drive. Greenery in Telangana has increased by 4% due to the Green Dew program.
MP Santosh Kumar said that the Green India Challenge was launched across the country in the spirit of greenery for Telangana undertaken by the Chief Minister. Minister Indra Karan Reddy expressed satisfaction. He asked everyone to dream of a green India and to preserve the plants planted with the aim of achieving leafy green spice. Deforestation is depleting vital oxygen.
Vanjeevi Ramaiah said that everyone needs to plant, preserve and grow greenery. He said that with continuous hard work and perseverance, forests and tree planting will be possible. He said that everyone should be responsible for the environment at their level and take up the greenery movement as a spread of green ideology.
The song, written by Deshapati Srinivas, was sung and acted by Rahul Sipliganj, while Poorna Chander directed, Shirish choreographed and Green India Challenge co-founder Raghava produced. MP Santosh Kumar especially lauded the songwriters for their efforts to bring the uniqueness of Green India Challenge in song form and bring it closer to more people.
