APEDA Chairman Visit Hyderabad for two days on Dec 28 and 29 to interact with Exporters
Dr. M. Angamuthu IAS, Chairman Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) will be touring Hyderabad for two days on the 28th and 29th of this month. He will be the chief guest at the Exporters’ Interact Meet on the 28th of this month at 10 am at the Taj Banjara in the Banjara Hills on agricultural products processing and exports.
Exporters will be made aware of the services provided by APEDA as a direction to promote agricultural based products processing and exports, as well as government incentives. Hyderabad-based Non-Basmati rice, Chocolates, Biscuits, Buffalo meat and poultry products are mainly exported. He will explain the problems faced by the exporters on their exports and explain the policies adopted by the government in resolving them.
He will then visit the Center for Excellence in Jeedimetla. About 50 farmers will be interacting on exports of flowers and vegetables. Center administrators GVK Naidu will share their experiences on the occasion.
Similarly, on the second day, on the 29th, Sangareddy District Pulkal Mandal will visit the Medical Nutrients Company in Gongaluru and monitor the management of Moringa exports through the Moringa Processing Unit.
Mr. Nagpal Lokare, Regional In-Charge, Hyderabad, oversees the arrangements for the two – day visit of the APEDA Chairman to Hyderabad. The two-day event, organized by Apeda, will be attended by officials from agricultural and food processing Institutes, agriculture and allied departments and exporters from the central and state governments.
