Amravati: United Nations Assistant Secretary of State Satya S Tripathi has lauded the steps being taken for nature conservation in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
On the 16th and 17th of this month, he visited various tribal villages in Vizianagaram district and along with T. Vijayakumar, Executive Vice Chairman, State Farmers Empowerment Committee, inspected the performance of the farmers of the 93 tribal villages who are doing organic farming.
As part of his visit, he had a brief meeting with Chief Minister Adityanath Das in the first block of the Amravati Secretariat on Tuesday. UN Assistant Secretary of State Satya S Tripathi said. During the visit, Chief Secretary to the Government Adityanath Das said that the government was taking major steps to promote nature farming in the state.
