Court reserves order on climate activist Disha Ravi’s bail application
Delhi’s Patiala House Court on Saturday reserved the order on climate activist Disha Ravi’s bail application till 23rd of February. The case was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Dharmendra Rana.
Appearing for the Delhi Police, Additional Solicitor General S.V. Raju opposed the bail plea alleging that Ravi is deleting and destroying the evidence.
He also alleged that the accused is tampering with the evidence. He further told the court that the activist is not cooperating during the investigation. He said, the investigation is at the nascent stage and the Delhi Police is yet to confront her with the other accused.
Climate activist Disha Ravi, who was arrested for her alleged involvement in sharing a toolkit backing farmers’ protest, was yesterday sent to three-day judicial custody by Delhi’s Patiala House Court.
