Hyderabad: Singareni all set to generate 300 MW of solar power by next September:N.Sridhar CMD
Mr.N. Sridhar C & MD Singareni Collories Company Ltd suggested to the officials and agencies that the first and second phase of 219 megawatts solar plants out of the 300 megawatts solar power plants taken up by Singareni to be completed by April this year and the 81 megawatts erection of 3rd phase to be completed by September this year and the entire 300 megawatts Singareni solar power has to be synchronized with State TRANSCO.
He held a detailed review meeting with Director ( E & M) Mr. D. Satyanarayana, agencies of 3 phases of solar plants, solar department officials, Solar energy corporation of India representatives belonging to central renewable energy department on Wednesday (February 24th). On this occasion he also reviewed the progress after DPR proposals about the 350 megawatts floating solar plant on Maneru Dam near Karimnagar.
Singareni Collieries become the first coal company in India to take up erection of 300 megawatts solar power plants in various singareni area. As part of this erection has been taken up in the first phase – 50 megawatts in Ramangundam-3 area, 39 megawatts in Yellandu area, 30 megawatts in Manuguru area and 10 megawatts capacity plant at Singareni Thermal power plant area. Out of these, 85 megawatts erections are completed & power production has started. This has been synchronized with TRANSCO.
C & MD instructed that the balance 24 megawatts in the first phase at Yellandu has to be completed in a week and 20 megawatts erection at Ramagundam has to be completed by March end and these have to be synchronized. He suggested to the erection company BHEL representatives and Singareni solar officials that required time bound plans are to be drawn up and implemented.
He suggested to the erection company Adani group that the 90 megawatts plants – 43 megawatts at Mandamarri area, 37 megawatts at Kothagudem area, 10 megawatts at Bhupalapally area have to be completed by the end of April.
He indicated to Novis green energy system limited out of that the total 81 megawattts solar plants the 15 megawatts floating plants have to be speeded up and erection has to be completed and handed over in the next 7 months, similarly Adani group was instructed that 22 megawatts plant on Ramagundam-3 area OB dump, 10 megawatts plant on the Dorli OB dump, 11 megawatts plant on land at Chennuru, 23 megawatts plants on open lands in Kothagudem area are to be completed and handed over by September end. In total by September this year 300 megawatts of solar power has to be synchronized with TRANSCO.
He discussed in detail about the progress of erection of every plant with all the erection company representatives. He made it clear that the work has to be completed in prescribed time.
