NTPC Simhadri successfully hosted CSR Stakeholders meet
NTPC Simhadri has organized CSR Stakeholders Meet today at its administrative building premises to share different community developmental activities, which were undertaken, works in process and planned activities of FY 2021-22 in the nearby villages of NTPC Simhadri.
The meeting was chaired by Sri Diwakar Kaushik, Group General Manager, NTPC-Simhadri along with senior NTPC officials Sri G.C. Choukse, General Manger (O&M), Sri Premchand, Head of HR & Sri S.S. Rao, AGM (EMG).
Inviting all the CSR Stakeholders to the meet, CSR Team has presented a short movie on COVID-19 activities, which were undertaken in and around of NTPC Simhadri and at KGH, Visakhpatnam during past one year. Further, a presentation was made on different CSR activities, which were completed in 2020-21, works which are in progress and activities planned in FY 2021-22.
The meeting was attended by MPDO, EO-PR&RD, Medical Officers of 3 PHCs – Parawada, Vadacheepurupalli & Devada, Sarpanches and Panchayat Secretaries of Parawada, Vadacheepurupalli, Vennelapalem, Kalapaka, Rawada, Naidupalem, Mutyalammapalem & Tikkavanipalem, Officials from Panchayat Raj, Rural Water Supply & Sanitation Departments, Principals of Jr.Colleges-Parawada, Islampeta & Thanam and Head Masters of Govt.ZP High Schools of Parawada Mandal and local village representatives.
Addressing to the CSR stakeholders Sri Diwakar Kaushik, Group General Manager, NTPC Simhadri assured that first preference shall always be given to the nearby villages only for improvement and betterment of any developmental activities and works shall be done under CSR approved budget following CSR policy guidelines. Further, he communicated that the company has a clear vision of planning its long term CSR activities in collaboration with communities for sustainable development of Parawada Mandal.
The meeting was a success with active interaction by all the stakeholders involved in the meeting.
