NABARD Assures to financial assistance for AP State Development
NABARD Chairman GR Chintala who met CM Jagan
A review was conducted today at the camp office on the ongoing activities with the financial assistance of NABARD. During the meeting, NABARD Chairman GR Chintala briefed CM Jagan about the activities being carried out in the state under the auspices of NABARD. Similarly, the officials explained the development aspects being implemented in the state on a departmental basis.
Officials explained the 10 types of facilities provided in schools under Naadu-Nedu programme. NABARD had provided financial assistance of Rs 652 crore for the creation of infrastructure in schools.
Of the rest, education officials have asked the NABARD chairman to provide another Rs 2,000 crore for the day-to-day work.
He said that YSR Aroghya Bhrosa was being carried out in the Anganwadi under the name of Pre-Primary Schools and was constructing 16 new medical colleges and super specialty hospitals, describing the services provided by the Department of Health and Public Health under the Naadu-Nedu programme.
Agriculture department officials said that revolutionary changes have been brought in the agricultural sector and RBKs, multipurpose centers, food processing policies and public markets are being brought in. The officials presented the details of the water grid and irrigation projects undertaken to provide safe drinking water in the state.

Chief Minister: Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy said that the CM was keen to bring about changes in the key areas of the newly implemented Navratnas and expressed confidence that efforts would be made to provide adequate financial assistance from NABARD. The state is going to change completely in the next 15 years:
Good education, good health for the people: We are very interested in the infrastructure projects being undertaken by the state government.
The projects undertaken by the government in the state are good: it has been made clear that they will look into these and provide all kinds of assistance. :
Food processing is a very important sector: We need to make agriculture profitable and we will think of ways to help in this sector: We have assured the government that we are giving utmost priority to drinking water projects. The state is proud to have a Telugu man as NABARD chairman, said CM YS Jagan, praising his services.
