Jersey and Maharshi bags 67th National Film Awards

The winners of the 67th National Film Awards were announced today. The announcement was delayed by almost a year due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Jersey and Maharshi films in Telugu won a place in the 67th National Film Awards. Jersey won the Best Telugu Film Award in the Feature Film category. The film won the Best Music Direction Award for Best Editing. Maharshi, starring Mahesh Babu, won the Best Action Direction award for Best Choreography. Tollywood celebrities are overjoyed to win the National Film Awards for two of the best films in Telugu cinema. Here is the list of 67th National Film Awards.

The winners of the 67th National Film Awards were announced today. The ceremony had been delayed by almost a year due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. Every year, the National Film Awards ceremony is held on May 3. However, the ceremony had been deferred last year in wake of the novel coronavirus pandemic. The winners were finally announced on March 22, 2021, in a press conference at the National Media Centre, New Delhi. The full ceremony was available for streaming on PIB India’s Facebook page as well as the official YouTube channel.
This time, there were 461 films in the Feature Film category and 220 films in the Non-Feature Film category. In the most film-friendly states, there were entries from 13 states
