AP: Release of All India Service Officers Performance Reports, List of Reporting Authorities
Mr. Aditya Nath Das, the Chief Secretary to the Government, today issued directions through a special GO to release the list of reviewers to prepare the performance appraisal reports of the All India Services (Performance Appraisal Reports) as per the 2007 regulations.
Govt instructions have been issued directing the reporting, reviewing and approving officers to write performance appraisal reports regarding the All India Service Officers of the AP Cadre.
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (61 of 1951) and in supersession of the All India Services (Confidential Rolls) Rules, 1970, except as respect things done or omitted to be done before such supersession, the Central Government, after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned, made the “All India Services (Performance Appraisal Report) Rules, 2007”.
Under Rule 5 of the said Rules, a Performance Appraisal Report assessing the performance, character, conduct and qualities of every member of the Service shall be written for each financial year or as may be specified by the Government.
Government have reviewed the existing channel for writing of Performance Appraisal Reports in respect of the All India Service Officers of A.P. cadre and decided to revise the same in order to ensure uniformity and control of the executive over the administration for effective public service delivery.
Therefore, in supersession of the orders issued in the references read above, Government hereby prescribe the Reporting, Reviewing and Accepting Authorities for writing of Performance Appraisal Reports of all the All India Service Officers of A.P. cadre, as shown below:-2021GAD_RT726
