Telangana: Govt cancels SSC exams; postpones Intermediate board examinations
Telangana government has cancelled Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations and postponed the Intermediate (Class 12) board examinations due to prevailing pandemic situation in the state.
State special chief secretary, Chitra Ramchandran said that 10th class students will be evaluated on the basis of objective criteria, which will be developed by the state SSC board.
The board examinations for Intermediate that is 12th class have been postponed and a decision will be taken in the first week of June after reviewing the COVID situation.
Students will be informed at least 15 days before the commencement of exams. Intermediate first year students will be promoted without exams for now.
