Telangana: Medical Oxygen tankers begin reaching different places in the state from Odisha

Medical Oxygen tankers began reaching different places in Telangana from Odisha this evening.

The first Oxygen tanker reached Khammam district earlier this evening from Angul, Roukela Steel Plant in Odisha.

Four more are scheduled to reach by road Hyderabad, Karimnagar and Cherlapally later this evening.

The arrival of these tankers will enhance oxygen supplies at TIMS, Chest Hospital and King Koti hospitals in Hyderabad and also at various hospitals in Karimnagar and Cherlapally.

It may be recalled that Telangana airlifted empty Oxygen tankers with the help of Indian Air Force, a few days ago to Odisha and they same tankers brought back to the state medical oxygen by road.

The Central Government has allotted medical oxygen to Telangana from Rourkela Steel Plant.
