The Singareni directors said that as part of the Covid prevention measures, steps were being taken to ensure that all hospitals in Singareni had adequate oxygen stocks so that medicines could be injected, so that medical services could be provided without any defect.
As per the directions of Singareni CMD Mr. N Sridhar, the Directors Mr. S. Chandrasekhar, Mr. N. Balaram held a video review meeting with general managers of all areas and officials of area hospitals from Hyderabad on Tuesday evening on Covid prevention measures.
The directors discussed the existing facilities in all the areas and the details of the drugs yet to be finalized .After that, the government officials said that they were in consultation with the private companies to procure the required oxygen for the Singareni hospitals and if there was any shortage, they would take precautionary measures to ensure that there is no shortage in the future.
Directors said that the vaccine required for the patients will also be procured and that there are adequate medicines for the current patients.
Directors explained that patients with mild symptoms should be kept in quarantine centers or at home quarantine but should be treated under the constant supervision of doctors, adding that about 6,000 quarantine kits have already been provided and more will be provided as needed.
The directors directed that a committee consisting of the Medical Officers as well as the Area General Manager be set up in each area under whose supervision to take appropriate action from time to time without any defect in the medical services. Like last year, this time too everyone is called to face it collectively.
