Deputy Chief Minister Alla Nani clarified that there was no shortage of oxygen and remediesivir injections in the state and their stocks were unsustainable. Recently, the central government had allocated 420 metric tonnes of oxygen. The Center has been directed to make full use of the allotted reserves.
The government is supplying remediesivir injections to private hospitals. Government hospitals and network hospitals are taking action without shortage of remediesivir, oxygen and other drugs. He said vigilance committees have been set up at the district level to prevent remedial injections from being smuggled into the black market and to prevent irregularities in consumption.
