AP: Inter exams as per schedule: Minister Suresh
Education Minister Dr Adimulapu Suresh clarified that there was no change in the schedule of intermediate examinations and that the examinations would be held from May 5. He said the inter-examinations were inevitable for the future of the students and the examinations would be conducted with care.
On Wednesday in Vijayawada, the Minister conducted a review with the authorities through video conference on the inter examinations. On the occasion, he said that inter-examinations have not been cancelled in any state and some states have postponed it while others are conducting it.
But some political parties are incensed that it is trying to undermine the mental courage of students and parents by making it unnecessary. The Minister congratulated the officers who completed the practical tests even in such difficult conditions. Authorities have been instructed to see to it that no difficulties arise for the students in the examinations to be held from 5 to 23 next month.
He said there would be surveillance at all the test centres and he would also review the test pattern every day. Minister Adimulapu Suresh advised the authorities to work in good faith to effectively implement the decision taken by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with a view to the future of the students. Principal Secretary, Department of Education B. Rajasekhar, Commissioner Ramakrishna and others participated in the review.
