Closure of Zoo,National parks and tiger reserves in Telangana for visitors till further orders: PCCF Shobha
In the wake of the rapid spread of SARS Cov-2 in the country, the Ministry of Environment, Forests and Climate Change in New Delhi has issued orders to close all zoological parks, national parks, tiger reserves and wildlife sanctuaries for visitors. R. Shobha PCCF, Chief Wildlife Warden, Telangana said in a statement.
Accordingly, the Prl. Chief Conservator of Forests (HoFF) & Chief Wildlife Warden, Telangana has issued orders to close the Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad, Kakatiya Zoological Park, Warangal, Kawal and Amrabad Tiger Reserves, all National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries in the state of Telangana with immediate effect as a precautionary measure to prevent spread of virus among Wildlife.
Hence, all the above mentioned facilities including Nehru Zoological Park, Hyderabad shall remain closed for visitors from 02.05.2021until further orders.covid_advisory_30april_cza (1) Tourism_closure_TR (1)
