Hyderabad: G. Kishan Reddy hands over 50 Oxygen cylinders to Gandhi hospital for COVID treatment
Minister of state for Home G. Kishan Reddy on Sunday handed over 50 Oxygen cylinders to Gandhi hospital in Secunderabad for COVID treatment.
These cylinders with a capacity of 7 thousand liters of oxygen, have been handed over as part of DRDOs sustained efforts to help meeting the urgent requirement of Oxygen supply at hospitals and medical institutions.
Missiles and Strategic Systems, Director General, MSR Prasad also present. These cylinders are high pressure seamless cylinders certified by Bureau of Indian Standards and approved by Petroleum & Explosives Safety Organisation.
Meanwhile, the first Oxygen express with 5 filled oxygen tankers reached Telangana from Angul, in Odisha.
This is the fist Oxygen Express reached the state carrying Oxygen for Medical Purposes. Another express will reach the state later during the month.
