India has started exporting GI registered product, i.e. Banganapalle mango to South Korea from identified groups of Andhra Pradesh
2.4 MT of Banganapalle Mango (GI registered Product) were sent to South Korea through air shipment today. The event was flagged off by Dr. M. Angamuthu Chairman APEDA, Ministry of Commerce and Industry Govt. of India.
First time IFFO KISAN with 36,000 cooperatives connection across India has been facilitation by APEDA to export Mangoes to South Korea. IFFCO KISAN is working with South Korean Company as Indian partner in the manufacturer of Lithium Battery and electric vehicle in SEZ Nellore (AP).
IFFCO KISAN interacted with MD of the South Korean company to start the export of horticultural products from India to South Korea. Since South Korean company importing agri commodities from various countries except India. IFFCO KISAN got the success to send the first GI registered Product i.e. Banganapalle Mango.
Basically South Korean Company engaged in India for technological manufacturing. Now they have entered into import of agri commodities from India in which they have strong connections in distributions and supply chain in South Korean markets which will be directly benefits to cooperatives connected with IFFCO KISAN. APEDA has facilitated to IFFCO KISAN for making hassle free export during entire process of sourcing, processing, packing and transportation of the produce to South Korea.
