He said that the Centre’s allocation of 13 lakh vaccines will not be able to meet the demand. He also appealed for an increase in the allocation of oxygen to the state.
The Chief Minister also instructed the Ministers of his cabinet to look into ways and methods of manufacturing oxygen in the state and also distribute oxygen coming from the other states meticulously to the needy hospitals in the districts.
The Chennai Corporation will be using INNOVA type cars as ambulances for patients who don’t need oxygen facilities.

The government has also instructed people not to panic but check themselves and take proper treatment at tertiary hospitals for the pandemic thereby breaking the chain of spread.
