UPSC civil services prelims 2021 exam postponed to 10 October due to COVID pandemic
Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has deferred the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2021, scheduled to be held on 27th of June this year. The decision has been taken in view of the prevailing COVID situation.
The Examination will now be held on 10th October, 2021
UPSC Prelims 2021 is scheduled for June 27, 2021. However, amid the second wave of Covid-19, many candidates are demanding that the exam be postponed or cancelled.
However, the UPSC has not yet made an official statement in this regard, but the examination has been postponed till October 10, official sources said.
According to the information, there is a 50-50 policy among students who want to cancel or postpone the exam.
Authorities must take preventive measures and all security precautions to deal with the current situation and ensure that the test takes place as scheduled.
Cancelling or postponing the UPSC Prelims exam is no longer a delay and a solution. ” Said the UPSC aspirant.
UPSC has recently postponed several exams due to the ongoing crisis.
Other government recruitment tests such as the SSC CGL and some tests of the SSC CHSL were also postponed between the Covid-19 pendemic.
