Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani of India are ranked 13th and 14th respectively in the Bloomberg list of global billionaires.
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Indian business magnate Gautam Adani has overtaken former Chinese billionaire Jong Shanshan to become the second richest man in Asia.
The Adani Group chief’s net worth, according to the index, is $ 66.5 billion against Ong Shan Shanshan’s $ 63.6 billion. Adani is now behind its Indian competitor and head of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) Mukesh Ambani, in terms of the per capita wealth of one person in Asia.

Shanshan, the founder and chairperson of the Nangfu Spring Beverages Company and the majority owner of the Beijing Wantai Biological Pharmacy Enterprise, was once the sixth richest man in the world. However, his net worth has been sluggish for the past few months.
In the Bloomberg list of global billionaires, Ambani and Adani are ranked 13th and 14th respectively.
Adani’s net worth reached $ 32.7 billion last year, down slightly from $ 175.5 million according to the Ambani Wealth Index. Ambani has a net worth of $ 76.5 billion.
Despite the onset of the COVID-19 epidemic, Adani’s wealth growth has largely contributed to the rise in share prices of Adani Green, Adani Enterprises, Adani Gas and Adani Transmission.
Adani Transmission and Adani Enterprises stocks rose 617 percent and 827 percent, respectively, while Adani Total Gas rallied 1,145 percent.
