AP: The High Court cancels Parishad elections

Parishad elections were held on April 8 in AP. SEC announced polling dates on April 1. On April 6, the High Court gave a single bench stay on the Parishad elections, while on April 8, the High Court quashed the division bench stay.
The SEC conducted the elections with the directions of the High Court Division Bench. Elections were held on April 8 for 515 ZPTCs and 7220 MPTCs. The High Court today issued single bench orders cancelling the Parishad elections.
