New Delhi: Supreme Court grants bail to rebel YSRCP MP Raghu Rama Krishna Raju in sedition case
The Supreme Court on Friday granted bail to rebel YSR Congress MP K Raghu Rama Krishna Raju in a sedition case lodged in Andhra Pradesh.
The apex court has imposed several bail conditions on Raju such as barring him from giving any media interview with regard to case.
The Supreme Court has granted bail to MP Raghuram Krishnaraju. The Supreme Court on Friday granted him conditional bail after hearing arguments from both sides. “Raghuram should fully co-operate with the CID investigation. The Inquiry Officer must be present whenever called upon.
Raghuram Krishnaraju Media, social media should not come forward. No videos should be posted. Interviews should not be given. Do not do stunts that show legs and arms in front of the media. A surety of Rs 1 lakh should be deposited in the trial court.
It is learned that Narasapuram MP Kanumuru Raghuramkrishnaraju was arrested by the AP CID a few days back for inciting tensions between the social groups by insulting the government and those in government posts under the scheme.
FIR 12/2021 was registered against him in this case. Raghuram Krishnaraja as A1, TV5 as A2 and ABN channel as A3 were mentioned in the CID FIR. The case was registered on the basis of CID DIG Inquiry Report.
