Hyderabad: Awareness to the authorities on the recapture policies of encroached forest lands
Telangana State Forest Academy has started a series of Zoom sessions to all the field staff (.ie., from FBO, FSO, Dy.RO, FROs and upto FDOs) of the TS Forest Department to enhance the skill and upgrading their capabilities on the important issues pertaining to the field condition like, Forest Protection, Cultural Operation, Fire prevention, Raising of successful nurseries and plantations soil and conservation and record keeping etc.
In this regard a Zoom session was conducted on 21.05.2021 for the northern part of Telangana representing Kothagudem, Khammam, Warangal, Karimnagar, Kawal Tiger Reserve and Adilabad Circles. A total of 361 nos of field staff have logged in.
A presentation on prevention and control of encroachment was made by Mr. Ranjeet Naik, IFS., DFO, Kothagudem, Sri. Ram Mohan, FRO Mulugu shared their field experiences through PPT. Sri. M.J. Akbar, IFS., CCF Hyderabad Circles also shared his experiences about the various facts of controlling of encroachment.
Smt. R. Shobha, IFS., PCCF (HoFF) TSFD, has appreciated the concept of such an experiences sharing in this difficult pandemic times and enhosted the staff to carry out their rightful duties talking all precautions as wearing a mask, sanitizing the hand regularly maintaining social distance and to the proactive even if any minor symptoms is noticed, by taking the help of a qualified doctor.
Sri. P.V. Raja Rao, IFS Director TSFA was the moderator and Smt. J. Vasantha, Dy.CF & DDO concluded programme by proposing vote of thanks.
