Telangana: Telemedicine Services for Forest Field Level Employees: MoU with Helping Hand Foundation  

The Forest Department has decided to take more care of the health of their staff and employees who are on regular duty even during the Corona disaster.

The Forest Department has made telemedicine services available to employees and their families on duty at the field level in remote forest areas.

The Forest Department has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Helping Hand Foundation.

Ms. R. Shobha PCCF said that these measures are aimed at providing complete awareness to the Forest Department officials and staff on corona symptoms, precautionary measures, immediate response in case of symptoms, etc., as well as providing immediate medical attention if required.

The PCCF held a video conference today with doctors and representatives of the Helping Hand Foundation. The meeting was attended by forest officials and staff from various districts across the state.

Forest department employees on duty in the forest on par with frontline workers said everyone should be extremely careful and start treatment immediately according to protocol without fear if corona symptoms appear, adding that doctors and counsellors are available 24 hours a day in telemedicine.

The agency also makes the necessary arrangements for emergency medical services and admission to a government hospital. Close associates and family members have been asked to continue treatment without corona infection.

The PCCF said the Helping Hand Foundation would be vigilant about any side effects after recovery from Corona and would also make AYUSH medicines available to employees as required.

The meeting was attended by PCCF (Admin) Swargam Shrinivas, Chief Conservators of various circles, staff from Helping Hand to Muztaba Askari, Dr Humera, Forest Officers of all districts, Beat Officer level.

The employees thanked the PCCF as well as other superiors who took the initiative in making the department employees and made efforts to make online telemedicine services available.
