CBSE Class 12 Board examinations cancelled due to Covid-19
CBSE cancels class 12 exams, decision taken in review meet chaired by PM Modi
CBSE 12th Board Exam Latest Update: Amidst the ongoing Corona crisis in the country, after 10th, now CBSE 12th board exam (CBSE 12th Board Exam Cancelled) has also been canceled. In a meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi (PM Modi), it was decided to cancel the 12th board examination.
The meeting was attended by Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister Prakash Javadekar as well as the chairman of CBSE. Both the Secretaries of the Ministry of Education were also present in the meeting.
It was also decided in the meeting that like last year, if some students wish to take the examination, then such option will be provided by CBSE to them if the situation becomes favorable. In the meeting, PM Modi said that the health and safety of the students is of paramount importance and this cannot be compromised at all.
Prime Minister Modi also informed about the cancellation of 12th examination by tweeting. PM Modi tweeted, ‘Government of India has decided to cancel the CBSE board exams for class XII. After extensive deliberations, we have taken a decision which is student-friendly, which protects the future as well as the health of our youth.
