Modi announces ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for NoK of people who lost lives due to fire at industrial unit in Pune and lightning in parts of West Bengal

The Prime Minister said, his thoughts are with all those who lost their near and dear ones due to lightning in parts of West Bengal. He hoped that the injured would recover at the earliest. Twenty people were killed in lightning today in the state.

PMO sasaid, Mr Modi has approved an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from the PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to lightning in various parts of West Bengal. Rs 50 thousand would be given to the injured.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that he is pained by the loss of lives due to a fire at a factory in Pune, Maharashtra. In a tweet, Mr Modi expressed condolences to the bereaved families.

At least 17 people including 15 women were charred to death in the fire that broke out at an industrial plant about 16 kilometres from Pune. Prime Minister’s Office PMO said, Mr Modi has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh each from the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund, PMNRF for the next of kin of those who have lost their lives due to a fire at an industrial unit in Pune, Maharashtra. Rs 50 thousand will be provided to those injured.
