Telangana: Governor stresses on need for promoting 100% vaccination among tribal communities

Telangana state Governor Dr Tamilisai Sounderarajan has stressed upon the need for promoting 100 per cent vaccination among tribal communities and dispel vaccine hesitancy.

She took her second dose of COVID-19 Vaccine this morning at the K.C Thanda, a tribal habitation in Maheswaram block of Ranga Reddy district in Telangana.

Speaking on the occasion, she asked officials to take special measures for 100 per cent vaccination coverage of tribal people specially to cover the primitive tribal groups in the remote areas of the state.

The Governor’s gesture is expected to galvanize vaccination of tribal people in the State.

The Governor took her first dose of vaccine at Government Hospital in Puducherry.
