Governor designate for Jharkhand Ramesh Bais yesterday reached Ranchi in the evening through a special flight from Tripura. Chief Minister Hemant Soren welcomed the new Governor at Birsa Munda Airport.

The new Governor designate was given Guard of Honour and welcomed by State Cabinet Ministers. Mr Bais will be sworn in as the 10th Governor of Jharkhand tomorrow in the afternoon at a function in Raj Bhavan.
