Maharashtra: Four agricultural universities to offer fees concession for UG, PG and Doctorate students
In Maharashtra, the State Government has announced that all the four agricultural universities in the state will offer fees concession for Under-Graduate, Post-Graduate and Doctorate students.
In a statement issued today, State Agriculture Minister Dada Bhuse said that the decision is likely to benefit about forty five thousand students studying across 189 private or public colleges.
He added that students whose parents or guardians have lost their lives in the pandemic will receive a full fees waiver.

In a meeting with Vice Chancellors of all the universities, Mr. Bhuse said, no student must be barred from attending lectures or appearing for exams for their inability to pay fees.
On the lines of concessions announced for non-agricultural universities, fees for dormitory, gymkhana, college magazine, computer charges, sports funds, medical aid funds and youth festivals will also be waived off for students of agricultural universities.
