PR and RD Minister Giriraj Singh reviews progress of SVAMITVA Scheme and e-Panchayat Programmes

Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Minister Giriraj Singh reviewed the progress made in implementation of SVAMITVA Scheme and e-Panchayat Programmes.

The Minister opined that measures may be taken towards strengthening Panchayati Raj Institutions through convergence with other Ministries.

With the upcoming 75th Independence Day Celebrations next year, the Minister said, Gram Sabha meetings may be institutionalised to chalking out the broad level agendas.
