TS Biodiversity Board organizes Harithaharam Plantation drive at BMC level successfully
The Biodiversity Management Committees(BMC’s) under the auspices of the TS Biodiversity Board have been heavily involved in the prestigious Palle Pragati Harithaharam program being implemented across the state under the leadership of CM KCR to support the conservation of plants.
Harithaharam Plantation programme is in full swing with the participation of BMCs.
In Telangana State 13, 482 BMCs have been set up at all levels (Zilla Parishad, Municipalities, Mandal & Gram Panchayat). Under the supervision of Board Secretary Kalicharan Karthade, BMCs are working for the conservation of plants and biodiversity resources around the villages.
BMCs in the state of Telangana are fully dedicated to conserving and sustainably utilizing biodiversity. Similarly BMC members across the state planted seedlings on a large scale as part of Harithaharam.

MLA Chittem Rammohan Reddy, people from different communities, students and children participated in Harithaharam and planted seedlings. Board Senior Consultant Shilpi Sharma, officials worked hard to make the Harithaharam plantation drive a success at the BMC level.
Similarly, Turkapally, Shamirpeta Zone, Medchal District, Bashirabad, Bashirabad Zone, Vikarabad District, V. Enugal. M. Parvatagiri. D. Warangal Rural, Keshampeta Village, Vanaparthi District, V. Ashalapeli.. M. Music. DWGL, Thandigi village, Krishna Mandal, Narayanpeta district, Chinna Potulapadu village, Manopad zone, Jogulamba Gadwal district BMC under the auspices of the seedlings.
The Board Secretary congratulated the BMCs for their active participation in the planting activities as part of Harithaharam.
