Hyderabad: Forest Range officers in training visiting FCRI Mulugu

A team of Forest Range Officers undergoing training at Telangana Forest Academy (Doolapally) visited the Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI) -Mulugu. The Telangana Forest Academy (TSFA) is nationally recognized for training forest officers.

The training program for the seventh batch is currently underway at the academy. A total of 63 Forest Range officers from seven states are undergoing training as part of the service. The team includes officials from Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

They all visited the Forest College and Research Institute in Mulugu, a suburb of Hyderabad, as part of a field trip. They explored the infrastructure, teaching methods and research opportunities at Forest College.

Inspected the Wood Processing Center of the Department of Forest Products. The Forest Range officers who are in training said that a visit to the Forest College, which is set up with sophisticated facilities, will facilitate their training.
