Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh appointed National President of JD(U)
Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh has been appointed the National President of Janta Dal (United). The decision was taken in the meeting of National Executive of the party held on Saturday in New Delhi.
He has replaced present National President R.C.P. Singh who was recently inducted in the Union Council of Ministers. Mr. Singh is handling the portfolio as Minister of Steel.
The new President of JD (U) is the Member of Parliament from Munger Lok Sabha Constituency in Bihar.
Former Water Resources Minister of Bihar, Rajiv Ranjan Singh is a close aide and confidante of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
