Start the pension implementation process for 57 years: CM command Cabinet officials were directed to start the relevant process immediately in the wake of the government’s decision to reduce the eligibility for old age pensions to 57 years. The decision will raise another 6,62,000 new pensions.
With this, the total number of pensions in the state will reach 58 lakhs. The CM directed the officers to continue the pension scheme for the only member of the family and transfer the pension to the wife immediately if the husband dies and to the husband immediately if the wife dies and start the process immediately.
The Cabinet has decided that candidates earning less than Rs 8 lakh in educational and employment opportunities are eligible for the EWS reservation quota introduced by the Center. The state government has decided to relax the maximum age limit for employment under the EWS quota by 5 years.
Cabinet debate on debt waiver: The details of crop loan waiver so far in the state have been forwarded by the Cabinet to the Finance Ministry. Due to the burden on the financial condition of the state due to the corona, over the last two years Rs. Only loans up to 25,000 (twenty five thousand) were forgiven.
Cabinet orders waiver of crop loans of up to Rs 50,000 (fifty thousand) from August 15 to the end of the month. This will benefit 6 lakh farmers.
