Singareni in solar plant preparations on Lower Manor Dam
Preliminary meeting with amateur agencies for consultancy recruitment
Singareni is accelerating preparations for the construction of a 250 MW (DC) floating solar plant on the Lower Maneru Dam near Karimnagar.
A preliminary meeting with the Entrepreneurial Agencies was held on Thursday at Singareni Bhavan, Hyderabad under the chairmanship of E&M Shri D. Satyanarayana Rao to appoint a project management consultancy for the construction of the plant.
Leading Tata Consulting Engineers Ltd., TUV India Private Limited Bangalore, TUV `S.U.D. South Asia Pvt Ltd Mumbai, Gensal Engineering Ahmedabad, SGUR. Energy India Pvt. Ltd. Pune companies participated.
Director E&M Shri D. Satyanarayana Rao explained that they will be hiring a consultancy to provide technical assistance at all stages from the beginning to the end of the plant in relation to their proposed floating solar plant on the Lower Manor Dam. The modalities were then discussed.
The government has already reported to Singareni for their approval for the 250 MW (DC) solar plant to be built by Singareni on the Lower Maneru Dam, which is likely to come up soon. Director E&M Shri D. Satyanarayana Rao said that the tender process will start as soon as full written approval is received from the state government.
The meeting was attended by General Manager Solar DVS Raju, SO (Director E&M) Sri Viswanatha Raju, Solar Consultant Muralitharan and others.
