Centre is committed to providing health, education, better facilities to tribals living in forest & remote areas: Arjun Munda
Union Minister for Tribal Affairs Arjun Munda has said that the Central Government is committed to providing health, education and better living facilities to the tribals living in forest and remote areas.
Talking to media in Raipur during his visit to Chhattisgarh yesterday, he said that efforts are being made to make tribal people self-reliant through Van Dhan Yojana. Women self-help groups are playing important role in this initiative.
During his Chhattisgarh visit, Mr Munda visited Dhuragaon in Bastar district and saw the works of Van Dhan Vikas Kendra.
He also visited the Trifood Park located at Babu Semra in Bastar district. The Union Minister said that this park would become an important self-employment center in this region.
