Singareni: Provide better medical services to employees and workers

Mr. N. Balaram, Director (Personnel, Finance) appealed to the owners of contract hospitals (Empaneled Hospitals) to take steps to provide better medical services to Singareni employees and retired Singareni who come for corporate medical treatment.
He held a special meeting with the owners of the hospitals contracted with Singareni on Monday evening at Singareni Bhavan.
The meeting was convened by the Director on the instructions of the Chairman and Managing Director, Shri N. Sridhar, in the wake of complaints that in some cases contract services were being delayed in contract hospitals for Singareni’s.
On the occasion, Director (Personnel, Finance) Shri N. Balaram said that cashless treatment should be provided on medical cards issued to retired workers. He appealed that almost all the hospitals had cooperated with the Singarenis during the corona and should provide better services.
Coordination General Manager Mr. K. Suryanarayana retired workers away from the areas of production coming from the Corporation for healing, such as a contractual obligation rather than a hospital, they said that the target for the inconvenience.
He said the contact numbers of the hospital representatives would be made available on the Singareni website if given to them, so that the workers would be able to call in advance, which would also eliminate the hassle.
Responding to a request from the hospital representatives for directions to expedite the approval of the bills, Chief Medical Officer Shri Mantha Srinivas said, “If the bills are submitted in the format prescribed by the company, they will be sanctioned without any delay.”
