Hyderabad: Monsoon Session of Telangana Legislature to begin today

The Monsoon Session of Telangana Legislature will begin today. State government is planning to introduce over half a dozen bills during the session. The Business Advisory Committee (BAC) of the Assembly will finalise the duration and agenda for the session tomorrow.

Matters relating to cultivation in the state, paddy procurement, law and order and the recently introduced Dalith Bandhu scheme are likely to come up for debate during the session. The inter-state issues relating river water sharing is also expected to be discussed.

The ruling TRS Legislature Party is scheduled to meet after the BAC meeting. The Congress Legislative party is also scheduled to meet tomorrow to finalise its strategy.
