AP: CM Jagan inaugurated American Corner set up at Andhra University

AP CM Jagan inaugurated the American Corner at Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in a virtual manner from the camp office, Thadepalli yesterday.

My special thanks to the American Consul General Joel who worked so hard to make such a wonderful event happen here. Along with him, I would also like to extend special thanks to US Aid Mission Director Veena Reddy.

It is a great pleasure to have a Telugu man in that high position in America .. especially a woman from my own district. With your help and cooperation, I want this system to go a long way and serve even more.

Our ultimate goal is to establish an American Consulate in Visakhapatnam. By the grace of God we hope it will materialize. I would like to welcome everyone on this occasion.

The American Corner being set up today in Visakhapatnam is the third in the country. While American corners are working in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad so far in the country, another new corner is being set up in Visakhapatnam today. This is so much fun.

I think the American Corner being set up at Andhra University stands out as very beneficial here. I hope American Corner will be very useful in serving not only students who want to study at good universities abroad, but in many other ways as well.

Special thanks to American Consul General Joel for playing a key role in establishing the American Corner in the state. We will always be grateful to him for this. We hope this American Corner is very useful to students. I sincerely hope that this American Corner will be very useful for the bright future of the students here .. I am starting the American Corner now.

More Indo-US ties: Joel Reefman. US Consul General:

I am very happy to have come to Visakhapatnam. For the last two days I have been touring places like Araku here. I have seen many. The trip left Nakenno feeling.

Midle of the post

Special thanks to Chief Minister Shri YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Andhra University Vice Chancellor Professor Prasad Reddy for giving me so much respect. This is my first visit to Andhra University. It is a great pleasure to participate in the inauguration of the American Corner, which stands as a milestone in the history of the University.

I applaud the ownership of Andhra University, along with the state government, for taking the initiative in setting up the American Corner here. Special thanks to CM Jagan for his hard work in this regard.

Both governments (the state government and the US government) are committed to providing greater opportunities for youth, especially women, in education and employment. This American corner will play a key role in making those opportunities available to me.

Improving proficiency in English, In fact CM Jagan is working hard in this direction. Also, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics – STEM – STEM) education, Women’s Empowerment, Awareness of American Culture, and the American Corner have been very helpful in providing timely information on opportunities in higher education in the United States.

In other words, this corner stands as a platform in fulfilling Chief Minister Jagan’s aspirations and dream of further strengthening relations between Andhra Pradesh and the United States. American Corner provides all services free of charge.

I would like to once again extend a special thanks to CM Jagan for taking the initiative and working for the establishment of the American Corner in the fast growing Visakhapatnam, hoping that it will be of great benefit to the students and youth of the state.

Industries, IT Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy, IT, Electronics and Communications Chief Secretary G Jayalakshmi, Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) Chairman K Hema Chandrareddy and other dignitaries were present on the occasion from the camp office.
