Telangana: Union Minister Smriti Irani criticizes TRS Govt
Union Minister Smriti Irani today criticized the TRS Government in Telangana stating that it failed in providing water, funds and employment as assured during the public agitation for separate statehood.
Addressing a roadshow in Husnabad held to mark the conclusion of the first phase of the Praja Sangrama Yatra, a walkathon taken up by the BJP state president, Sanjay Kumar, she said many promises given by TRS before elections were not fulfilled.
She slammed the ruling party for not making any effort to address unemployment in the state.
She said the time has come to end a corrupt government in the state as funds and employment are going to single family.
She criticized non implementation of unemployment allowance She congratulated Sanjay Kumar for successfully completing the first phase of 438 km trek.
On implementation of various programmes by the central Government, she said 2 crore people have been provided houses across the country, Ramagundam Fertilizer factory has been revived, 80 crore people are being given subsidised ration.
She also criticised the state government for not implementing crop insurance schemes.
