Vizag Zoo conducts competitions for school and college students on the eve of World Wildlife Week-2021”

On the occasion of “World Wildlife Week-2021” Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam conduct ingvarious competitions for school & college students.On the first day of the session Sri. P Ram Mohan Rao, IFS, Conservator of Forests, Visakhapatnam, Sri. Anant Shankar, IFS, District Forest Officer, Visakhapatnam.

Dr. Nandani Salaria, IFS, Curator, Indira Gandhi Zoological Park, Visakhapatnam, Dr. V. Srinivas, VAS, IGZP, Dr. Rajesh, Neurophysician, Apollo Hospitals graced this inaugural session and delivered their speech about wildlife conservation.

We have so much wildlife around us andit is our responsibility to save them, said Sri Ram Mohan Rao, IFS. In this present situation people are aware about conserving animals and putting their efforts to save them, he added.

Around 110 students from various schools and colleges attended this inaugural session. After inauguration “Oral Presentation” competition was conducted for students on the theme of “Wildlife in changed world & its conservation”.

Students of all age groups participated actively and shared their views about wildlife and its conservation. And also there will be free entry for children below 12 years till October 8th on the occasion of “World Wildlife Week-2021”.
