Karnataka: Tata Technologies upgrade 150 Govt ITIs
Tata Technologies has upgraded 150 Government ITIs in Karnataka and imparted advanced skills training to the ITI teachers.
The information was given to the media persons after Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai met the Asia Pacific Sales and Communication President Anand Bhade in Bengaluru today.
The Chief Minister said that the corporate sector should come forward to develop ITIs in each district so that the students are tought skills akin to the needs of the Industries at present.
Mr. Bhade of Tata Technologies said that they have offered the Government to set up the Research and Innovation center in the Agriculture sector that will work towards developing agriculture based technologies, post harvest management techniques and scientific storage systems for the agriculture produce.
Initially four such centres are proposed to be opened in four corners of the state.
