Delhi: CM announces 10-point Action Plan against air pollution
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal announced 10-point Action Plan against air pollution yesterday.
Briefing the media, Mr Kejriwal said, the plan will help tackle air pollution in the national capital which deteriorates in winter.
He said, there is a ban on firecrackers and 75 teams have been formed to survey and impose penalties on those who violate the government’s dust pollution norms.
He added that 250 teams have been formed for stopping garbage burning. He said, India’s first e-Waste Park is being constructed.
He also said, steps are being taken to decrease traffic jams and added that 64 congestion points have been identified in the national capital.
