Glenn Maxwell continued his glorious form and KS Bharat stamped his authority on the big stage as Royal Challengers Bangalore came back from behind to beat Delhi Capitals in their final group-stage match of IPL 2021 in Dubai on Friday.
KS Bharat showed incredible composure as he hit 78 from 52 balls and remained unbeaten and Glenn Maxwell rode his luck to smash 51 not out from 33 balls as RCB gunned down a 165-run target in a last-ball thriller.
With 5 needed from the last delivery, Bharat held his nerve and smashed a six straight over Avesh Khan’s head to pull off an incredible victory for RCB. Anrich Nortje delivered a terrific penultimate over, conceding just 4 runs and bringing down the equation from 19 off 12 to 15 off the last over.

Nonetheless, the win over -table-toppers should give Virat Kohli’s men confidence ahead of the big test against KKR on Monday, October 11.
