Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey receives victory flame in Raipur
Chhattisgarh Governor Anusuiya Uikey received the victory flame in a ceremony organized on the occasion of Swarnim Vijay Varsh at the Raj Bhavan in capital Raipur on Wednesday.
On this occasion, the Governor felicitated the war heroes who participated in the 1971 war.
Addressing the function, the Governor said that the Indian Army is one of the great armies of the world, which has led many wars in its history and brought them to a successful conclusion.
The Victory flame of Swarnim Vijay Varsh, commemorating the 50th Anniversary Celebrations of India’s victory in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, reached Chhattisgarh yesterday. This victory torch will remain in Chhattisgarh till 19th of October and during this period many events will be organized by the Indian Army.
