Telangana: Inspection of temple construction works by CM KCR Ariel who visited Yadadri

In the backdrop of Chinna Jeeyar Swamy finalizing the Muhurat of re-opening of the renovated Yadadri temple, Chief Minister Sri K. Chandrashekar Rao visited Yadadri on Tuesday. The CM examined especially the re-construction works, the main temple and the Sanctum Sanctorum. The CM has inspected and examined all the Yadadri Temple development works, surroundings by an aerial view.

The CM, at first, arrived at the Helipad created at the Yadadri Temple City at 12.40 PM. The CM was accorded a rousing welcome by Minister Sri Jagadish Reddy, MLA Ms. Sunitha Mahender Reddy, Legislative Council former Chairman Sri Gutta Sukender Reddy, MLC Sri Aliminate Krishna Reddy, Collector Ms. Pamela Satpathy, Commissioner of Police Sri Mahesh Bhagwat, Yadadri EO Ms. Geeta, YTDA Chairman Sri Kishan Rao, CMO Officer Sri Bhoopal Reddy, Endowments Commissioner Sri Anil Kumar and others and they presented saplings of Tulasi to the CM.

Along with the CM Minister Sri Malla Reddy, MLA Sri Marri Janardhan Reddy, Tourism Corporation Chairman Sri Uppala Srinivas Gupta, CM OSD Sri Desapathy Srinivas were present.

Later, the CM Convoy reached the Balalayam atop the hill through the Ghat. There, Endowments Minister Sri A Indrakaran Reddy, MLA P Sekhar Reddy, Vedic Scholars, Archakas accorded the CM welcome with all the temple honours. The Archakas performed special Pooja at the Balalayam and gave Prasada to the CM and blessed him with Vedic Hymns.

From there, the CM reached the main temple through the VIP entrance. The CM inspected the special doors of the main entrances created by the Pembarthy artisans. The CM explained to those who accompanied him about the significance of the sculptures engraved on the temple walls. The CM stopped at every viewpoint and viewed the beautiful scenario.

The CM discussed with the officials about the construction of Gandi Cheruvu, Pushkarini, Kalyana Katta, Deekshaparula Mandapam, and Satyanarayana Vrata Mandapam, etc., The CM shared with the Cabinet Colleagues how the reservoirs were specially made. The CM then congratulated local MLA Ms. Gongidi Sunitha Mahender Reddy and said,” Sunithamma! Your life became meaningful as such a wonderful temple is being constructed during your tenure as the MLA.”

Then the CM stopped at Vemchepu Mandapam and examined the works and reached the place of sanctum sanctorum. The CM examined the Queue lines adorned with Sanku Chakra symbols, which were specially made from Indore and the Gold covering of the main entrance to the Sanctum Sanctorum. The CM specially inspected the Narsimha Swamy Kalyana episode drawn in the Tanjore style of painting.

Midle of the post

The CM shared with his Cabinet Colleagues, MLAs and TRS Leader Sri M Narasimhulu on the Prahlada Charitramu episodes carved there. He went around Alwar Mandapam and examined each and every sculptor there. He also inspected the foundation platform of the Dwaja Sthamba. Temple Architect and Sthapathi Ananda Sai explained to the CM the progress of the works. The CM gave several suggestions on the final works. The CM also examined the works on Queue Complex, Escalators, Siva Temple, Vishnu Pushkarini, and Kshetram Palak Anjaneya Swamy temple.

When the Temple Archakas requested for the sanction of house sites for them, the CM instructed Minister Sri Jagadish Reddy, Collector Pamela Satpathy to allot plots for Archakas and employees as the decision to allot them plots had already been taken. The CM also instructed the officials that all those who lost their shops during the construction ring road should be given 1000 Sq ft shops free of cost near the Kalyana Katta Complex. He warned that no one who was dependent on the temple for generations should be left high and dry.

Later, the CM personally handed over the handwritten Muhurat letter of Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamy to Temple EO Geeta and asked her to place the letter at the Lotus feet of the deity. The CM told the Temple Archakas that Sudarshan Yaga would be performed at Yadadri with 1000 Ritwiks under the supervision of the Jeeyar Swamy. The CM inquired with the Archakas whether they were getting the Pay Revision Commission. When they answered in the positive the CM felt happy. Later the CM performed Abhishekam and Archana at Sari Ramalingeswara Temple and had lunch with Ministers, MLAs, and other prominent persons at the VVIP Guest House.

As part of the Yadadri tour, the CM went around the Giri Pradhakshina steps road, constructions taking place at the Temple tower (Gopuram) and gave suggestions and changes to the final works. The CM later inspected the works of Integrated Temple City construction. The CM said in the 250 acres sprawling Temple City, 50 acres would be greenery, 250 Cottages would be constructed in the rest 200 Acres. In each Cottage, which would be constructed in 1000 Sq Yards, there would be four Suites.

The YTDA will construct these Cottages with the money given by the donors. The Donors can suggest a name to be given to the Cottages they have sponsored. The CM instructed officials concerned to create all the facilities in the suites for the 1000 families who would stay in the cottages. The CM instructed that the Cottages should be provided with underground drainage, uninterrupted water supply, power supply and all the facilities and comforts. The CM urged everyone to cooperate to preserve and protect the sanctity of Yadadri Temple city and wanted strict implementation of the ban on liquor, smoking. The CM instructed the officials to allow only vegetarian food.

The CM also examined the Presidential Suites exclusively constructed for the President, Vice President, Prime Minister, Chief Ministers, and other such VVIPs. The CM had a celestial view of the Temple towers, which were resplendent with golden colours from the viewers’ Lounge. The CM and others had a spell-bound view of the Yadadri temple illuminated under the lights and the flora and fauna. The CM who came back to the Temple premises examined the lighting arrangements and offered several suggestions.
