Delhi’s air quality deteriorates to very poor category: Just ahead of Diwali,
Just ahead of Diwali, the air quality in Delhi deteriorated and reached very poor category for the first time this season.
According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the overall air quality index of the national capital was recorded 302 at 12 noon today.
The neighboring cities of Delhi also recorded very poor air quality.
The decline in the air quality is attributed to stubble burning, winter inversion and a dip in mercury levels.
